The Final Diploma trial examination takes place tomorrow, Friday 25 September. Treat it as a rehearsal for the full process, not just a quick login check.
Use the computer, internet connection and room that you plan to use for the live examinations wherever possible. Check PEBX, Google Chrome, ProctorExam, your camera and microphone, Microsoft Word with autosave enabled, and your PDF software. Microsoft Copilot must be disabled, and only one screen may be used.
FD3 and FD4 candidates should also practise the exact method they intend to use for scanning and uploading annotated claims or diagrams. If you will sit the examination at work, agree any printing, scanning or IT support with your Designated Contact in advance.
Check every email address used for registration, including junk folders, for the trial instructions. The PEB strongly advises candidates to take part and warns that mitigation may not be available if a candidate skips the trial and later discovers that their room or equipment is unsuitable.
Use anything that goes wrong tomorrow to make a short action list. There is still time to fix the setup before the Final Diploma examination week begins on 19 October.
