The Foundation Certificate trial examination takes place tomorrow, Friday 18 September. The PEB strongly advises candidates to take part.
Use the trial as a full technical rehearsal. Where possible, use the computer, internet connection and room that you plan to use for the live examinations. Check your PEBX login, Google Chrome, ProctorExam setup, camera, microphone and speaker. Have the same photo identification that you supplied when registering.
If you are using a computer supplied by your firm, make sure any access restrictions have been dealt with and the required PEBX and ProctorExam addresses have been allowed by your IT team. Check every email address used for registration, including junk folders, for the trial instructions.
The PEB says it cannot put mitigation in place after the examination if a candidate did not take part in the trial and later finds that their room or equipment is unsuitable. If anything does not work tomorrow, note it down and resolve it well before the Foundation Certificate examination week begins on 12 October.
