Some useful clarification for trainees planning their UK and European examinations. IPReg has confirmed that a pass in the new EQE Paper M3 will be recognised as demonstrating the competencies assessed in FD2 Drafting and FD3 Amendment.
There are also transitional arrangements for candidates combining legacy EQE Papers A or B with the relevant parts of M3.
This is particularly useful for trainees planning which UK Final Diploma papers they need to sit over the next few years. Existing recognition of legacy Paper A, Paper B and the full legacy EQE also remains in place.
